Goals

Integrate artificial intelligence and computational thinking into your teaching practice with a pedagogical, ethical and responsible basis. Throughout the 200 hours of the course, you will learn how to use Open P-TECH, explore its resources and courses, configure your account and organize students, content, quizzes and learning plans.

You will develop basic programming skills with Scratch, understanding its characteristics, its blocks and structured programming, and you will work with variables and projects. You will also be introduced to the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence through Machine Learning for Kids and you will address data collection and the design of text and image classification projects to transfer this learning to the classroom.

What prepares you

This course prepares you to incorporate artificial intelligence into your teaching practice with judgment, security and a clear pedagogical orientation, turning it into a support tool to improve both your daily work and the learning experiences of your students.

At the end of the training, you will be prepared to use AI-based tools in different educational situations; design activities and materials adapted to different levels and needs; generate innovative learning proposals; optimize certain planning and evaluation tasks; and explore new ways to personalize and enrich the educational process.
