The Aula_Smart Foundation® is a non -profit institution that was established in 2004 at the initiative of the Aula_ GroupSmart. This group, specialized in the application of technological solutions to training, identified the difficulties facing information and communication technologies (ICT) to integrate into the teaching-learning process, mainly due to the lack of economic resources in the education sector and the low training of teachers in this area.
To address these challenges, the Aula_ GroupSmart Teachers from several universities and educational centers began to teach. In addition, he worked on the process of disseminating ICT through their participation in events in the sector. However, the group quickly realized that the mission transcended from the corporate sector and required an institution dedicated entirely to work to achieve the inclusion of ICT in education. This is how the Aula_Smart Foundation®.
The Foundation was created under the motto new_tiempos_métodos with the aim of promoting the incorporation of ICT in the education sector. ICTs can improve the quality of education, facilitating the understanding of complex concepts, promoting interactive learning, allowing the personalization of learning and improving access to information.
The Aula_Smart Foundation® was registered by ministerial order of 12/13/2004 in the Foundations Registry of the Ministry of Education with number 782. This registration granted the State the recognition of the general interest of its purposes. This recognition reinforces the commitment's commitment to its mission and vision.
In addition, the Aula_Smart Foundation® is recognized by the Ministry of Education as a permanent teacher training center. This recognition highlights the commitment of the Foundation with continuous training and the improvement of education through the integration of ICT.
The Aula_Smart Foundation® is dedicated to teacher training, the dissemination of ICT and the promotion of their inclusion in education. Through its work, the Foundation seeks to overcome the economic and training barriers that often prevent the effective integration of ICT in the teaching-learning process.
